AppLink Page

An AppLink lets other people access a document, which is saved in your Marix online storage. It opens a "window" to the original document through a web browser, using the same program the document was originally created in.

Automated Tutorial

For example: if the file was created in a graphics program, then it appears in a web-enabled version of that graphics program, in a separate web browser on the recipient's computer.

What You See

The AppLink Properties include the name, permissions and information for the AppLink recipient. Click the Edit button to change these properties.

What You Can Do

You can:

• Copy: Copy the AppLink URL onto the clipboard for use elsewhere.
• Mail: Click to create an e-mail with the AppLink (you need to set a default mail program). Send this to anyone you want to access your file.
• Edit: Click to change the AppLink properties.
• View: Click to see a list of all AppLinks for the selected file.
• Save: Click to save the AppLink without sending it. The AppLink will appear in the AppLink List for the associated file.
• OK: Click when done to return to the File Manager. The AppLink will appear in the AppLink List for the associated file.
• Delete: Delete the AppLink and return to the File Manager.
