View Activity Log
The Activity Log lets you view recent activity pertaining to documents in your File Manager.
Automated Tutorial
To view the Activity Log:
- Enter the date range in the From and To boxes. You need to enter the dates in yyyy/mm/dd format.
- Enter the Search Text, if any. The search will return all lines with text exactly matching what you enter in this box.
- Select the Number of Records (log items) the search will return. You can select 10, 20, 50, 100, or All records.
- Select how often to Update View. This sets how often the results list will refresh itself. You can select 60, 120, or 240 seconds, or None. (You can refresh the results by clicking the "Refresh" button on your browser.)
- Click the View button. The Activity Log Contents page loads in your browser.
The Activity Log Contents Page
This page shows you the following:
- The User who modified one of your files (either you or someone you've designated to share your files.
- The Date and time the action occurred.
- The User IP address (the user's internet address).
- A Message describing the modifications.
The page will refresh, based on time settings you designate in the Update View List (on the View Activity Log page). You can also click on the Refresh button.
